Job description
This is an entry-level position for applicants willing to learn about the details of international logistics from a hands-on approach of directly immersing in the daily activities of a global logistics firm like Pantos. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual and self-starter willing to learn the details of one of of the most important (but often overlooked) industries in today's economy in a growing company with a large global presence. There is plenty of growth-potential within this company and industry. The candidate will spend most of their time working directly with experienced professionals in the industry, assisting in the following activities:
Handling and preparing documentation
Monitoring and solving daily domestic and international logistics needs for customers
Communicating with vendors and customers via phone and e-mail
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of global trade environment and/or logistics is a big plus (but not required)
High computer skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment within a team setting
Ability to multitask and work efficiently
Strong inter-personal and communication skills, both verbally and written
English language proficiency is a must
Proficient in Microsoft Office
